Why was it gone?
If you’ve been wondering why Antique Gold took a little hiatus, here’s the scoop:
Our manufacturer switched one of their raw ingredient suppliers, and the new batches batches didn’t meet our standards. The tone, coverage, and ease of use weren't the same, and for a product this beloved, “close enough” wasn’t good enough.
We knew we needed to recreate the exact magic you fell in love with.
What happened behind the scenes?
Re-launching Antique Gold has been a labour of love. We spent months testing and comparing every sample to our original formula for colour, consistency, and shine. We didn’t stop until Jenna approved a batch that perfectly matched our signature shade— rich, metallic, luminous, and stunning on any sweet creation.

Is it still safe?
Absolutely! Safety has always come first, and that never changed. All Dazzle Dust products are third-party tested and meet strict Canadian food safety standards. If it’s not safe, we simply do not sell it— full stop. You’ll also notice updated packaging with a recommended serving size, offering even more transparency and guidance for use.
