The Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba provides programming, support, and advocacy for individuals who are impacted by learning disabilities (LD) and/or ADHD, with a vision to empower and foster self-worth and independence for all Manitobans living with these disabilities.

Its flagship program, the Barton Reading Program, is currently helping more than 50 students with literacy barriers learn how to read through one-on-one tutoring. As the organization continues to expand the program, donations will go directly towards allowing LDAM to hire and train more tutors, and offer the program to more individuals who need it.

LDAM also provides other programming like its Adult ADHD Support Group, Job-Fit Program and LEGO Club, and drives multiple LD/ADHD advocacy and awareness efforts in the community as well.

Throughout the month of August, purchase cupcakes in-store at Academy, Island Lakes or The Forks, through SkipTheDishes, or online and 5% of all sales will be donated to the Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba!
